What & Why of TQM In Education?

TQM is a philosophy of Quality where we aim at

PERFECTION IN TOTALITY• aim is to bring out the best aim is to bring out the best

in a child - mentally, in a child - mentally, intellectually, spiritually, intellectually, spiritually, physically, culturally and physically, culturally and morally.morally.

• Schools and Colleges have an extra responsibility

today to conduct the novel phenomenon for

developing the pace of learning today with

inception of Information Technology as the means of Education as the best

and the ultimate substitute.

Page 8: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

As a matter of fact:• In the education arena,

we have only begun to harness the power of technology.

• Technology is an effective tool for an image-based generation.

• Professional development is essential to the success of an instructional technology implementation.

Page 9: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

Techno Culture In Schools• Technology is a tool. In the

education environment, it is a resource for assisting parents and educators in their quest to teach and motivate children.

Page 10: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• No wonder, if we call an IT illiterate as completely illiterate shall not be a bad idea. The debate is on to bounce this festive IT Mantra to the adults and to the Senior Retired lot who take it as a moral substitute to their livelihood.

Page 11: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

Ignorance about computers

will rather render people

functionally illiterate as does

ignorance of reading, writing and

arithmetic.

????

Page 12: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

Any country’s social and economic well-being depends entirely on how well equipped its people are for a literacy-intensive technology in order to promote overall quality oriented academic excellence.

100% IT Literacy, the need of the HOUR.

Page 13: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• The great dependence today from ATMs’ to INTERNET for information and TICKETING the

masses have no substitute but to be IT friendly ultimately. Hence

Quality Education Through IT is at its behest to promote the culture of Quality of Work Life

habitually in custom. No wonder, no matter what may be the implementation cost of the infrastructure, it is bound to

promote the artistic and working attitude of the masses in a big

way.

Page 14: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

School Scenario:

• Be it the last day of college or the first day to a nursery with the tiffin the only content of the bag, the story of Computer can no longer be an adult one.

Page 15: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

The ultimate:

• No wonder you tell a child to write an essay as homework, he/she is bound to download the content to present before you the next day, making you baffle to the interest of the many others lying in the queue.

Page 16: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• One must pay as much attention to highlighting good content as to restricting banned content. Remember that overzealous watchdog policies may inhibit Internet opportunities for students, whose only access to the Internet is through school.

• Take the example of the many parents who take a balanced approach to the Internet. Both at home and at school, set rules and limits on Internet use, but also guide their children to good Internet contents.

Page 17: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• The children use just as much paper as they did before computers became a classroom standard. Hence one has to keep in mind that writing with a pencil involves an equally important set of skills as typing on a keyboard.

Page 18: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• Exposure to the Internet can help preschoolers and children in the early elementary grades master literacy and other cognitive skills and also can spur integration of these skills early in their development.

• Parents and school leaders who look for online opportunities for younger children can be guides to engaging, age-appropriate content

Page 19: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• Educators and parents have been quite concerned over the years about possible negative effects of computer and Internet on children's desire to interact with others. Unlike television, however, the more interactive, child-controlled nature of some computer software can be conductive to sharing, taking turns and playing games together.

Page 20: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• The ultimate is Quality Culture and the Happening things to happen. It counts in a big way to promote the very cause of darkness out of the old traditions. It is very easily encapsulated into the minds of the workforce, the users, the public opinion and to the masses.

Page 21: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• IT has paved as the mantra for SURVIVAL, the capsules for QUALITY CULTURE, the tablet for PROSPERITY at large. Pressing it with the opinion of the masses is the fact that it is a REALITY in practice. The boom of technology is bound to promote and enhance the image of Quality in Education and the SOCIETY in a big way

Page 22: Catch Them Young: IT LITERATES

• Thinking of SOCIETY, aiming a future, working for…. Without IT has become a JOKE of the day. Kudos’ to the necessity … the ultima of choice in action….by Chance and not by choice. IT is there is stay and mandatory to breathe into……

AN EMAIL ID ?• Let us know what is a

SEARCH ENGINE at least.

Let us make Compulsory IT Education

the Prosperity of the Nations, further.
