Help us find our alumni! We are in search of our oldest graduate’s names and year of graduation. Our school was founded in 1904 as St. Joseph’s School. In 1929 was known as St. Joseph Academy. In the 1950’s St. Joseph Academy split and became known as St. Mary’s Elementary and St. Joseph High School. In 1967, the school was combined under the name of Catholic of Pointe Coupee School. Our graduation records in the Business Office date back to 1925. We would like to gather informa-tion on graduates prior to 1925. Your help in this endeavor is greatly appreciated. Please contact the business office at (225) 638-9313 ext. 200

Blast from the past!
2012-2013
In the fall of 2012, CHSPC graduate and former faculty Scott Devillier (‘84) was selected by the Zachary Community School Board as the District’s Superintendent. In 2013, Devillier made his 10th year of being with the District. When discussing the District’s success, Devillier stated in an interview with The Advocate last January “There is no secret: It is the people who make this district successful. We have outstanding, dedicated teachers, committed students and parents and a supportive community that is behind us every step of the way.” Before going on to Zachary, Scott Deviller was an athletic director, teacher and coach here at Catholic High of Pointe Coupee from July 1989 to June 1998. He is married to graduate
Stacy Caillet Devillier (’85) and they have two children Tyler Deviller (‘13) and Abbey Devillier (currently a sophomore).

New & Familiar Faces in the Business Office
Catholic of Pointe Coupee welcomes new faces to our business office. Much to our dismay, Kelley Gannon, left the business office to work with her husband, Dr. Joe Gannon in his eye medical practice. But, we are happy to introduce you to our new Business Manager, Tess Soulier. Also with the retirement of long time employee, Peggy Smith, Catholic is proud to announce, Ramona Kellerman stepped into Peggy’s position. Finally, Addie Armato (‘96) will be assisting the business office with marketing, communications and alumni/public relations.
We are proud to announce the kickoff of our beautification program. Our campus has been a work in progress since it was originally established in 1967. Projects such as installing air conditioning in the classrooms and gym to upgrading playground equipment take place every year. It is because of your generosity we are able to accomplish these rehabilitations and improvements that foster an ideal learning environment for our youth. For the 2013-2014 school year, we are going to focus our efforts to courtyards and seating areas for the student body. Not only will this project be functional, but it will provide an esthetically pleasing appeal for visitors to our campus as well. Benches, picnic tables and garbage cans can be purchased through the Business Office by call (225) 638-9313 ext. 200. Plaques can be dedicated to the memory of someone, in honor of a family, or in recognition of an entire class for an additional $100. This is a great way for you to leave a mark on the school that has made a mark on your life.
