Learning Management System
Things to consider: • Analyze current LMS• Build vs. Buy Decisions• SIS/LMS Data Integration Tasks• Adaptive Learning
Customer Relationship Management
Things to consider:
• Have you identified the data/information needed to successfully track, monitor, and manage students?
• Have you identified how to deliver this information to staff, faculty and students as appropriate (data reports, dashboards, etc.)?
Student Information System
Things to consider: • Large focus on standard terms• Workaround is massively labor intensive• Issues with non-standard terms
Our model:• Seven-week terms & acceleration• Term Codes and Parameters
Financial Aid
Things to consider:• 64% of C-BEN TIP respondents use their SIS as
their financial aid system• Growing need for financial aid solutions
Our model:• Full-time enrollment= 6 Schs• Manual intensive process• The challenge of incompletes
Data Analytics
Things to consider:• Defined program success measures and KPIs • Manual vs. Automated• Growing need for BI tools and skilled staff• Continuous improvement process
Transcription
Our Model:
• 80% or better
• Grading Conversion
• Traditional Transcript
A survey by the (TIP) project indicated that 42% of C-BEN institutions are issuing "dual transcripts" — one or two documents that include traditional credit hour grade measures and the new CBE mastery-based achievement designations.
Staffing
Things to consider: • How will a CBE model affect faculty roles and faculty
load/compensation?• What additional staffing roles need to be considered
for CBE Programs?
Our Model:• Program Director• Dependency on Adjunct Faculty• Full-Time Instructors/Staff• Success Coach
