Community-Based Monitoring System CBMS APP Module 1: Data Collection Page 1 Training on CBMS APP Module 1 data collection covers a general orientation on the background and rationale for CBMS, lectures and hands-on exercise on how to conduct the survey and field operations, and how to administer the survey forms. The training is led by the provincial and/or municipal/city CBMS focal persons and/or trainers. Objectives At the end of the module, the participants are expected to: 1. Know the concepts and definitions in the Household Profile Questionnaire (HPQ) and and Barangay Profile Questionnaire (BPQ). 2. Learn how to properly accomplish household and barangay profile questionnaires using Android gadgets 3. Learn how to recognize inconsistent entries, evaluate and field-edit answers Participants Day 1 : LGU Monitors/Technical Working Group members of the LGU Qualifications to be involved in Data Collection: 1. A regular staff of the LGU for the duration of the project 2. Computer literate 3. Capable to assist/supervise enumerators in the duration of data collection 4. 1. Data collection should start immediately after conduct of training to ensure that the mastery of the concepts is still retained in the minds of the enumerators.

2. Ideal time frame of survey operation is 1 month

The Portal also acts as an offsite backup LGU data as well as gateway through which LGUs can access their datasets.
