Meet our PrincipalDr. Hatcher

Dr. Hatcher has dedicated his life to educate the youth of Northeast Florida. He believes that education is truly the passport to the future. He has been quoted as saying “If we can get all our students to believe that education is just as important as food, shelter and water; then and only then is our mission complete.”

Meet Your TeacherMrs. Debbie Wadsworth

• Being a military brat, I moved around quite a bit during my education career. I attended seven schools before graduating high school. To say the least, I was exposed to many different teaching styles and teaching personalities. I believe that experience made me much more adapt to change and embrace newness in my life.

• I love to learn and improve the effectiveness of the learning environment. I believe Virtual Learning is an innovative learning environment that allows each course to be customized to each student. Anytime, anywhere, any path! Being involved with Clay Virtual Academy is a dream and I look forward to learning more innovative measures to delivering education to our students

• I am married and have 2 children (1 son & 1 daughter) and 2 crazy yellow labs. I love being outdoors and beingactive.

**I will be available by phone or email and we will set up some virtual classrooms very soon

The Role of the CVA Teacher

• A CVA teacher is available in ways that are different than a traditional classroom teacher.

• You can contact your CVA teacher by email, phone or you may be invited to a Blackboard Collaborate (BBC) session.

• A CVA teacher is also a facilitator, guiding you through the lessons.

• The classroom is managed by a VLL Assistant. Please take the time to know and respect your VLL Assistant.
