Friday, May 3 Parish Movie, On the Town, is at 7pm in the Ministry Center. Sunday, May 5 ~ Sunday Breakfast is at 8:15am. This is the last Sunday for the Sunday Breakfasts for this program year. Sunday Break-fasts will resume again in September! Many, many thanks to the Sunday Breakfast Teams for providing these delicious breakfasts! ~ Church Periodical Club Sunday (CPC Sunday) The purpose of the Church Periodical Club is to supply free Bibles, prayer books, literature and periodicals to deserving recipients throughout the Anglican Communion. CPC is supported solely through donations to finance its operation. You can make your donation through the offering on May 5, or you can mail your donation directly, which will keep the CPC money in our diocese, to our Diocesan EWC Treasurer: Claudia Sulloway, 577 Robin Road, Morehead City, NC 28557. Please note CPC on your check. Tuesday, May 7 ECW Spring Dinner The annual ECW Spring Dinner will be held on Tuesday, May 7 in the Ministry Center, beginning at 5:30pm. Dinner is $19 and the menu choices are chicken stuffed with broccoli and cheese or fish with sauce. Desserts will be provided by Bev Fawcett. The guest speaker will be Linda Staunch. All Christ Church women and men are welcome! For reservations and menu choice, call Judi Dorn, 633-2109 by Friday, May 3. Thursday, May 9 ~ Feast of the Ascension A High Eucharist for Feast of the Ascension will be held at 7pm. Saturday, May 11 ~ Stepping Out Singles Just a reminder that Stepping Out Singles will meet at 1:00pm in the Christ Church Ministry Center. Please come and join us for a special birthday celebration. ~ Feast of the Ascension Organ Concert & Evensong There will be an Organ Concert & Evensong for Feast of the Ascension on Saturday, May 11 at 5:30pm. Casey Whaley will be the guest organist. Sunday, May 12 ~ UTO Sunday The United Thank Offering (UTO) is to expand the circle of thankful people by encouraging daily prayers - combined with offerings - to show awareness of the abundance of God's blessings! UTO envelopes will be mailed for this special offering.
