General Information

Projects/applications will be evaluated using the following criteria: The importance of the project to post disaster

recovery of the applicant; The percentage of low-to-moderate income

persons served; The percentage of grant amount in relation to

applicant’s annual budget; The relative economic distress of the applicant.

General Information

Grant applications will be accepted and awards made until funding is no longer available. The intent of the program is to provide the non-federal share of necessary public improvements and/or rehabilitation related to the 2008 presidentially declared disaster (FEMA DR-1766). A minimum of fifty percent (50%) of grant funds will be awarded to projects that benefit at least 51% low-to-moderate income persons.

General Information

Actual grant amounts are negotiated on a case by case basis and the amount of assistance will be dependent upon the factors described above.

Maximum grant award is 25% of total FEMA approved project costs.

OCRA Certified Grant Administrator required.

Maximum grant administration fee is 8% of grant award. The allowable amount will be determined by OCRA on a project by project basis.

OCRA will respond with a list of agencies that need to be contacted or let you know full assessment is necessary
