    The city has been experiencing fair weather with only light

    drizzles since last night, however, affected barangayscontinue to report increase in level of flooding.

    Twelve (12) schools have declared suspension of classes fortoday.

    Flood water crosses over from Calasiao through low lyingportions of the Old De Venecia Road (near Alimax)causing heavy flooding in the areas of Malued andTapuac.

    The water level in Sinocalan River continues to decrease,although it still remains above the 7m-critical level.

    24-Hour Public Weather ForecastIssued at: 5:00 AM 17 September 2014

    SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 am today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) wasestimated based on all available data at 1,070 km East of Visayas(13.2N, 136.3E).

    FORECAST: Eastern Visayas, CARAGA and Davao Region will havecloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

    Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy tocloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

    Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to south willprevail over the western section of Luzon and from the north to

    northwest over the rest of Luzon and Visayas and the coastal watersalong these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds willbe light to moderate coming from the southwest to west with slightto moderate seas.

    Suspension of Classes

    The DepEd Dagupan City has forwarded notice that the following schoolshave declared suspension of classes for today, Sept. 17, 2014:1. Manguin ES2. DCNHS3. Pogo Lasip ES4. Mangin- Tebeng ES5. East Central Integrated School6. Lucao ES7. Juan Siapno ES8. Pogo Lasip ES9. Pascuala G. Villamil ES10. Malued Special Science ES11. St. Albert the Great School

    12. Pangasinan Universal Institute

    Schools that are still flooded may declare suspension of classes as deemednecessary. BDRRMCs may make recommendations as per assessment oflocal situation in their vicinity.
