Dear Community Leader,

We are embarking on a great journey for our organization

and our community and now more than ever, your leadership

support is critical. Over the next two years, we will be working

towards a significantly different future. The strategic plan we

completed in June of 2015 will be the lens through which we

operate as an organization and as a leader for our community.

It is an ambitious plan and will take all of us, working together

as a community, to achieve a common goal. We can drive

United Way’s organizational excellence and in turn increase

the resources we have to invest in the community, but we

cannot tackle a community-wide issue without the help

of leaders like you. We have large goals for the next two

years. We are developing and implementing a strategic

volunteer engagement plan, identifying a community-wide

issue and creating a plan to address it, working to increase the

community’s trust and confidence in United Way, and move from

$4.3 million in revenue to $7 million. These are the steps we

need to take to improve the lives of our Allen County families.

Your continued support is vital to this endeavor. Thank you so

is open to those individuals who contribute at least $10,000

annually. The Tocqueville Society offers its members a deeper

connection to both United Way and the community we serve.

Through the generous help of the Foellinger Foundation and 3Rivers

Federal Credit Union, United Way of Allen County nearly doubled the

Tocqueville Society over the past two years making our membership

the second largest Tocqueville Society in the state of Indiana.
