Sculpture by the Lakes is a unique venue to celebrate your special day especially if you are looking to celebrate a special anniversary or occasion.

Nestled in 26 acres of Dorset’s glorious countryside lies Sculpture by the Lakes, an oasis of natural outstanding beauty and tranquillity, explore the sculpture park with over 30 pieces of art and feast on our freshly prepared seasonal menu sourced directly from our kitchen garden with a glass of crisp wine or locally sourced beers and ciders.

We offer bespoke and unique packages to suit your individual requirements, to ensure your day is simply the best occasion for you and your guests.

Your celebration party can be held at The Retreat which has its own exclusive area and is not accessible to the public. Located next to a lake, stream and frontage on to the River Frome.

The Retreat is a stunning double storey timber building with a roof terrace offering spectacular views over the park and is situated next to the River Frome and private lake in the south-eastern corner of the park.

The Retreat accommodates 60-70 people for a sit-down lunch or 100 for a drink’s reception.We provide a varied range of menu options sourced from our own garden and local suppliers, cooked on site by our team of chefs and supported by an experienced and professional team who will always be on hand to offer excellent hospitality and service.

As every celebration is individual and unique, please book a personal consultation who will arrange a meeting at the park to discuss options and specifications to create a truly unique package especially for you.

Prices vary depending upon package selection but as a guide the hire of The Retreat venue starts at £2,000 for the standard hire period which includes the exclusive use of The Retreat and access to the park and facilities
