Mission Statement
Founded by music industry legend Celia Cruz,
The Celia Cruz Foundation is a non-profit
organization dedicated to raising funds for
underprivileged students wishing to study
music. During her 50-year career in the music
industry, Ms. Cruz was a tireless supporter of
music education issues in the Hispanic
community. The foundation will also be a great
contributor in the fight against Cancer.
About Celia Cruz
The Queen of Salsa carried her title
with class and distinction. Her
powerful voice and electrifying
rhythm garnered more than 100
worldwide recognitions, multiple
gold and platinum records, three
GRAMMY® awards and four Latin
GRAMMY® awards, as well as a
