Wide range Celino is available in suspended and surface-mounted versions, which can also be clustered in line arrangements. Wall-mounted and free-standing versions are available to create a bright, welcoming ambience.
Offices – and the people working in them – are changing. As organisational hierarchies become flatter, tomorrow’s office spaces will take on a more social role, bringing multi-skilled knowledge workers together in physical proximity to facilitate conceptual, communicative and creative processes.
Philips has a history of innovative advances in optic design, including the renowned OLC (Omni-directional Luminance Control) optics introduced at the time of the launch of the TL5 lamp. Continuing this tradition, Celino features Philips’ new micro optics, which combine a miniaturist design with optimum performance in terms of light distribution, visual comfort and efficiency. Celino is available as a complete range, for maximum freedom in application.

Line arrangement The extremely compact Celino is ideal for creating lines of light. The form of the lightline can follow the lines in the space and the décor, at the same time providing direction and guidance.

Light beam With its compact dimensions (a mere 71 mm wide) and subtle, minimalist design, Celino reflects the market trend towards miniaturisation and architectural integration. The housing is made of natural anodised extruded aluminium and has diecast-aluminium end caps.
The design allows multiple luminaires to be connected in a line arrangement. Philips’ new aluminium micro optic with 3D lamellae ensures optimum visual comfort and efficiency compliant with the latest office-lighting norm (EN12464-1). Celino is available as a full range: suspended, surface-mounted, free-standing and wall-mounted, offering maximum freedom in application.

Surface-mounted With surface-mounted luminaires, the mounting direction of the fixture is not constrained by the ceiling system. This makes luminaires like Celino eminently suitable for custom configurations.
Conference rooms Celino offers a wide range of luminaires with multiple functionalities. The combination of luminaires and controls enables the user to create dedicated lighting settings for the tasks in hand – meetings, presentations, projection, etc.
Wall-mounted A Celino wall-mounted luminaire creates a lively, informal environment with indirect light on the wall.

Glare control Glare makes the eye tire quickly, because it has to adjust to large differences in luminance repeatedly. Celino is available with aluminium micro optics with 3D lamellae that are specially designed to prevent discomfort glare and disturbing reflections on monitor screens, in accordance with glare restriction regulations (EN12464-1).
Task lighting Celino suspended luminaires with combined direct/indirect lighting cast enough light directly onto the desktop to enable specif ic office tasks to be performed with maximum efficiency, while at the same time creating an intimate ambience. By illuminating the ceiling, an attractive spatial effect is created.

Micro optics and integrated controls Philips’ innovative new range of micro optics combine outstanding light distribution, glare control and visual comfort with high levels of eff iciency in a miniature design.
C8 high-gloss aluminium optic – Patented OLC optic with 3D lamellae This optic has a delta-shaped light distribution, high eff iciency and provides all-round glare control in accordance with EN12464-1 (Lm 200 cd/m2 in all viewing directions at γ 65° and UGRR< 19). A high-ref lectivity aluminium version with ef f iciencies of up to 95% is available (C8-H).
D8 semi-high-gloss aluminium optic – Patented OLC optic with 3D lamellae This optic offers the ideal balance between visual appearance and technical performance, combining a delta-shaped light distribution, high eff iciency and all-round glare control in accordance with EN12464-1 (Lm 200 cd/m2 in all viewing directions at γ 65° and UGRR < 19). A high-ref lectivity aluminium version with ef f iciencies of up to 94% is available (D8-H).
3D lamella The aluminium lamellae in the micro optic have a 3D shape for Omni-directional Luminance Control. The curved bottom and curved closed top ensure maximum eff iciency, even with the compact dimensions. The lamella shown here is at actual size.
Controls Miniaturised controls can be integrated into the micro optics with lamellae. Combining three miniature sensors in a single unit, Omnisense offers the highest level of interactive control for the modern off ice. It provides daylight regulation, occupancy control and interactive individual regulation. The result – maximum visual comfor t, f lexibility and energy saving.
M2 matt aluminium optic – Optic with matt side reflectors and flat, profiled lamellae This optic provides comfor table horizontal and ver tical illuminance and is highly ef f icient (UGRR<21).
MLO micro-lens optic – Closed optic with over 35 high-precision conical lenses per square centimetre This optic provides excellent visual comfor t. Available in PMMA (AC-MLO) and in polycarbonate (PC-MLO) (850° glow wire test).

Arrangements and suspension
Line arrangement Celino suspended and surface-mounted luminaires can be connected in a line arrangement. Dedicated line luminaires are available, which include through-wiring and all coupling and suspension elements needed to build a line. No additional par ts need to be ordered.
SM2 suspension Set of two single steel-wire suspensions with ceiling f ixation. One ceiling cap is included for the metal-like power cord. The set is delivered as par t of the suspended luminaire.
All you have to order is one ‘Line end’ luminaire and as many ‘Line feature’ luminaires as are needed to create the line you want. For instance, to create a line of three luminaires, order one ‘Line end’ luminaire and two ‘Line feature’ luminaires.
