Cell-site Remote Management
ADTRAN®’s MX4 and MX3 Series of Bandwidth Management platforms provide
the ideal solution for addressing bandwidth optimization while offering a
complete remote management solution for cell-sites. From a single 1U chassis
the MX4 Series offers fractional T1 grooming with an integral 1/0 cross-connect
to provide cost-saving DS1 consolidation and provides four Ethernet interfaces, an
integral terminal server, alarm inputs, E911 connectivity, and optional local POTS
interface (depending on the model selected). The MX410 supports 4 DS1s and
remote cell-site management while the MX412 provides up to 12 DS1s and remote
cell-site management. For applications requiring T1 grooming onto a DS3 circuit,
the MX3 series provides a modular chassis with numerous interface options along
with interfaces for remote cell-site management as well. Now mobile operators
can reduce the number of truck rolls and cost associated with on-site personal
by efficiently managing cell-site resources from a centralized location.
