• Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and clinical experiences with colleagues involved in the delivery of patient care.
• Discuss professional, educational and financial issues affecting the role of the advanced practice nurse as they relate to primary and acute care practice specialties.
• Provide information on emerging trends in health care, practice management and political issues to assist advanced practice nurses in positioning their practice for the future of health care.
• Challenge participants to consider the complexities of an interdisciplinary, highly complex health care system as it affects future roles and practice opportunities.

(AANP). The final number of contact hours will
be determined prior to the conference. The
American Association of Nurse Practitioners
(AANP), the largest, oldest, and only full-
service organization for NPs of all specialties, is
committed to promoting high quality continuing
education (CE) appropriate to nurse practitioners
(NPs). AANP-approved continuing education is
universally accepted by all NP certifying bodies
and state boards.
The American Association of Nurse Practitioners
(AANP) policy mandates that each attendee must

If you’re interested in taking an active part in the success
of our conference, we’re glad to have your help. CANP is
looking for volunteers to serve as moderators during each of
our engaging educational sessions. Moderators will introduce
the guest speaker, keep sessions on time and remind all
attendees to have their badge or session tags scanned.
Volunteers will receive a biography of the speaker for the
session, a moderator how-to guide and any additional
information that applies to the session. To participate, simply
check the corresponding box on your registration form and
CANP will contact you with more information.
YOGA WITH CANPFRIDAY, MARCH 21 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. Yoga with CANP is open to all levels, from beginner to expert.
Although yoga poses are a physical exercise, they have the
added benefit of bringing great balance to the mind, body
and spirit. A morning yoga practice is a great way to energize
before a busy conference day.
CANP 5K FUN RUN/WALKSATURDAY, MARCH 22 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Ready. Set. GO! Enjoy the cool seaside morning with an
invigorating walk, jog or run with fellow conference attendees
along an easy 5K (3.1 miles) course. Always a conference
highlight, the 5K Fun Run/Walk is a great way for members,
exhibitors, sponsors and guests to come together and get
moving before the day’s educational sessions. All participants
receive a T-shirt, water and a snack at the end of the race.
Registration is $15 per person.
