Carpool RemindersPlease remember to follow our procedures for morning and afternoon carpool. This helps tokeep our students, safety patrol members, and families safe. In particular, we would like to remind you that:

    1. Morning drop-off is at 7:35 AM. Students will not be able to come into the building (or sit out front)before then unless attending the Early Morning Book Club. Further, please do not let your children out of the caruntil you see the adult on carpool duty (usually Mrs. Watkins or Mrs. Hucks).

    2. Students should not get out of cars at end of parking lot and walk through the parking lot alone. Its avery busy parking lot. Please see that they are escorted.

    3. All cars need to stay in the carpool line rather than cutting between the parked cars and the carpoolline alongside the front of the building.

Mark Your Calendar for CFIs Fall Yard SaleLast spring CFIs family yard sale was such a success that many

families have asked us to hold a fall and a spring yard sale. Its simple. You bring your stuff and CFI supplies the tables and chairs. Reserve atable for a $20 donation to the Annual Fund and then you keep theproceeds!

The Yard Sale will take place on Sat. Nov. 13th from 7:30 AM until11:00 AM in the parking lot in front of the school with set-up beginningat 6:30 AM. Well bring out the tables at 6:30 and keep the parking lot

open until 7:30 so that you can pull up your car or truck near your table. Youll have plenty ofspace around your table for larger items that you wish to place directly on the ground. While youare welcome to sell baked goods, we request that you not sell beverages. The CFI Annual Fundtable will sell bottled water, coffee, and hot chocolate.

At our Yard Sale last spring, we raised $440 for our Annual Fund and everyone who purchaseda table came away with a profit! We also had a lot of fun.

My son is currently attending College of Charleston.

Elementary school counselors have special roles and responsibilities and follow state stan-dards and guidelines as outlined in the SouthCarolina comprehensive, developmental guidance andcounseling program. I will be teaching classroom guidance lessons, and working with students insmall groups and individually as requested. I will also work with the school intervention team toassist with recommendations to ensure that all students needs are being met. I will be sendinghome a brochure very soon that will explain more about my role with your school and children. Ifyou have any questions, please call your childs school, or email me at [email protected].
