New Basketball Development Programme at Central Bedfordshire College
The Development Programme will consist of :
· 6-10 hours of specialised coaching and training per week
· Fixtures against other colleges and universities
· Weekly position specific and individual skill workouts
· Weekly strength and conditioning session to become a more explosive
and efficient athlete
· An opportunity to achieve National Governing Body recognised
coaching and officiating Qualifications
· Match and training analysis to help you improve your performance and
game knowledge.
Levels of study will range from the following:
· Level 1 BTEC Introductory Diploma in Sport
· Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Sport
· Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport & BTEC Subsidiary Diploma
in Sport & Exercise Science
· Academic progression to university from this course (subject to grades).
