Welcome to this month’s edition of the CDCC Newsletter. Since last month’s edi-

tion we’ve made the transition from track season to road season and there is plenty

of road racing already on the calendar. PACC will be hosting Winter Track Racing

on the 4th Wednesday of the month from May to September.

CDCC Members Marie Hedley and Graeme Zucker were recently

awarded as Cycling SA’s Volunteer of the Month for February and

March respectively.

Congratulations to both Marie and Graeme who both work very hard

and give much of their time for our club and for Cycling SA.

Marie Hedley. The range of clothing also includes fleece jumpers, warm

up jackets and track pants, beanies and scarves for the winter road

season.

P A G E 4 CDCC Annual General Meeting The AGM of the CDCC will be held at the Adelaide Superdrome on Monday, May

10, at 7:00 pm.

All members and parents of junior members are welcome to attend.

You should have already received by e-mail a letter from our Secretary, Marie

Hedley, and a nomination form. If you would like to nominate yourself or another

member for a position on the Committee, then please return the completed

Nomination Form to Marie by April 28.

If you have not received a letter or nomination form, then please contact Marie at

[email protected].

43rd CDCC Junior Tour Source: http://www.centrals.org.au/

The 2010 Junior Tour will be held over two days on Saturday 10th July and Sunday

11th July.

All stages are being run from Macclesfield and the tour base will be the Maccles-

field Football Clubrooms. The event will comprise four stages:

Stages One, Two and Three are road races,.

Stage Four is an individual time trial.

The event is open to competitors from Junior U13 to U17.

The U13 category is combined boys and girls.

The U15 and U17 categories are separate Junior Men’s and Junior Women’s races.

Online entries are now open through the Cycling Australia race entry system.

The Council of the League of SA Wheelmen yesterday granted approval to the following

carnivals:- October 5, Swan Reach; October 5, Naracoorte (50 mile road race); October

12, Riverton (nominations close October 2); October 9, Adelaide Labor Day, Wayville

Showgrounds, Port Pirie and Mount Gambier; October 12, Peterborough; October 26,

Balaklava (50 mile road race); October 26, Norwood Club’s Adelaide to Noarlunga road

race, 22 miles; November 2, Meribah; December 30, Naracoorte; January 1 Tailem Bend

and Appila; January 25 and 27, Whyalla.

It was decided to adopt the Federal Cycling Association’s rule that no nominations would

be accepted unless they were set out on the official league form and were accompanied

by the full nomination fees. No late entries would be accepted.
