DESCRIPTION
Creating pottery is a meditative process that involves patience, skill, creativity and an eye for design. This tactile form of art allows me to develop an intimate relationship with my artistic muse. As a young girl, I would be inspired to create my own unique interpretation of random objects that caught my interest. The works presented in the slides were all created in 2013. Poetry in Motion After creating the puzzle, it did not fit as originally planned post glazing. Knowing I can’t put the puzzle
together, I decided to do the opposite. I painted two wooden boards and scattered the pieces.
Flamboyance After creating “Poetry in Motion”, I decided to paint puzzle pieces instead of glazing them. I
used metallic acrylic paint and attached the pieces using a hot glue gun.
