Jie LIAN Chairman and CEO Perfect World Pictures Jie Lian oversees operations and production for Perfect World Pictures and its affiliates, where he has produced or executive produced a number of film and TV projects. He is also Chairman of Perfect Village Entertainment Group, a venture formed this year with Village Roadshow Pictures and WME-IMG. Prior joining Perfect World in 2016, Lian was a founding partner of Primavera Capital Group, a private equity fund that specializes in China, and before that, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. He put together several landmark transactions in China and developed a passion for the entertainment and media business. He has worked on cross-border investments and partnerships and has served as an independent director on the boards of entertainment companies.
