imon ‘The Chairman’ Richardson has been in the furni-

ture business for 30 years and is an expert in uphol-stery and in the design and fabrication of origi-nal furniture. We offer a bespoke service to a client base that encompasses both the private and public sectors. All furniture is handmade in Lon-don by a highly skilled team of upholsterers, carpenters and re-storers, led by The Chairman him-self. Our frames are made from prime seasoned beech wood, and all fur-niture is hand-sprung using tradi-tional methods. An exquisite selection of sofas, armchairs, chaise longues, foot-stools, ottomans, headboards and

much more can be viewed at our Kings Road showroom. Furthermore, The Chairman works with antique pieces which can be reupholstered in any fabric and any style. We also cater to those with a more contemporary taste with corner units and modu-lar sofas. We are happy to work with the customer’s own designs. Each customer can be assured of personal and attentive service. Design inspiration and loving craftsmanship is evident in all of The Chairman’s pieces. W e here at The Chairman & Son are happy to re-upholster or refurbish a piece of furniture that may have seen better days. Our skilled team of upholsterers and restorers work to-gether to return your piece to its former glory. We work with all fabrics, from the finest silk to the most luxurious leather. We are also able to work with the customer’s own fab-ric. There is no additional charge for this and it offers the opportunity to the customer to play his or her own part in the upholstery process. We carry a wide range of fabrics in our Kings Road showroom. If you would like to email us a photo of your piece with the measurements, we would be delighted to quote you a price for this service, to inform you of how much fab-ric will be required and to arrange collection and/or de-livery.
