Night Magic Fireworks, Martin Xtreme Mo- to Cross Racing, Trottingbred Races, BMX Bicycle Stunt Show, Kidz Zone, Classic Car Cruise In, Petting Zoo and Pony Rides, Pedal Pull, Open Horse Speed Show, LaGrange County Queen Contest, Rides, and Games. Tak- ing place on the Avail Free Stage is the: Little Miss & Mister Contest, Muwendo Children’s Choir, Worship Ser- vice, Juggler Yoder, Princess Tea Party Meet & Greet, Kid’s Movie Night, LaGrange Community Band, Jiggs Hendrixson Band, the Second Wind Band and new to the fair this year is the Power Wheel Derby which will take place during intermission of the Midget Races. (The Pow- er Wheel Derby is for kids ages four to nine) . Besides all the great entertainment, there are numer- ous 4-H competitions taking place all week. Don’t forget to check out all the 4-H projects in the air-conditioned community room. The Chamber Ambassadors recently gathered to welcome Naomi’s Candies and Cafe. Naomi’s is a brand-new café-style venue, nuzzled inside Yoder’s Shopping Center in Shipshewana.

Rise ‘n Shine Market Place Joins Chamber Membership

Chamber Ambassadors welcomed Rise ‘n Shine Marketplace as they recently joined the Chamber Mem-bership.

The Marketplace is owned by Orvin and Viola Bon-trager and is located at 2580 N 1150 W, Middlebury, Indi-ana. (Locals will find them on the Shipshe/Middlebury Road). Huge New Wild West Show Debuting In Shipshewana:

The Michiana Event Center (“The MEC”) was built for big and has brought some huge events to the small town Shipshewana, IN. Recent events have included PBR bull riding and concerts as big as Willie Nelson. This sum-mer they will be debuting an ambitious new show which will run the entire month of August. The show is called Shipshewana’s Majestic Frontier and fea-tures some of the top names in western entertainment and some of the wildest acts imaginable!Jeff Fought, MEC marketing director states, “Western Frontier is 90 minutes of gun slinging, riding, roping, action-ppacked excitement featuring real life Cow-

boys and Cowgirls, ranch hands, folk dancing, saloon girls, western singers, trick ropers, a roman riding team comprised of six draft horses, trick and fancy riding, real Texas Longhorns, cowboys riding cows, comedy and so much more! I feel this will be one of the most exciting shows Shipshewana has ever seen.”

Jennifer Gatrel one of the show’s producers states, “The VIP experience is an amazing chance to go backstage for an exclusive tour! You will meet the human cast, get hands on interaction with the animal cast, and learn what it takes to put together and perform our show.”

Shows are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:00 pm with 2:00 pm matinees and 7:00 pm shows on Saturdays. The audience is invited to arrive 30 minutes early for the all-kid, all-star pre-show. The children of the cast will be performing their aerial acts, horse acts, and bull whip and lar-iat skills. This interactive experience features something for everyone.

The show will also feature a themed dinner experience. Prior to the show, guests are invited to dine on an all you can eat chuck wagon style buf-

fet dinner, while enjoying cowboy songs, poems, and stories in front of the campfire.

Hugh Warren, host and producer of the show states, “I can’t remember when I’ve been this excited about a show! I have performed and watched shows in Myrtle Beach, SC, Branson, MO, Pigeon Forge, TN and Orlando, Florida. Frontier is right up there with the best of them! It's the perfect show to take the entire
