7. Pass-It-On I am sure many of us have items at home that are still in good condition which we no longer use and yet cannot bear to throw. These could be toys, clothes, electrical goods, books, costume jewellery and so on. “Pass It On” is a bi-annual exercise carried out by the PIE Club to raise awareness of the importance of environmental conservation as well as provide opportunities for you and your child to participate in recycling. Some of the donated items will be sent to Welfare Homes while the rest will be sorted and sold at a Bazaar Sale in school on a later date. Students and staff will be informed of the dates of the Bazaar Sale. Funds raised by PIE Club will be used to support various initiatives such as gifts for the teachers and children on Teachers’ Day and Children’s Day respectively and also for the organization of scholastic events. If you would like to specify whether a particular item is for sale or for donation to a welfare home, kindly do so by attaching a note to that item. The collection period is from Mon, 2 Sep to Fri, 27 Sep. You can deposit your items from 7 am to 3 pm during these stipulated dates. Drop-off point is at the foyer, near the General Office. We look forward to your generous support! 8. Parents Gateway Enhancements and New Feature: Email Notification Parents can now have the option to turn on email notifications. This feature will trigger alert when there is a new message sent by Parents Gateway. Parents would still need to log in to the Parents Gateway app to view the entire message (announcements/consent forms) and respond to consent forms. These multiple channels will ensure that parents do not, inadvertently, miss out on new announcements/consent forms sent by the school. Do go to the ‘Profile’ tab in the Parents Gateway app to enable this. Please note that this update feature would only be available to parents after they have upgraded their mobile version of Parents Gateway to v3.1. The Parents Gateway app will automatically be updated on parents’ devices if they have enabled the auto-update feature. Otherwise, parents could also update their app through Apple App Store or Google Play Store to enjoy these features.

96% of our students’ parents have subscribed to the Parents Gateway (PG). We strongly encourage and urge all parents and legal guardians to come aboard as Parents’ Notifications as well as Consent Forms will be disseminated only through PG. Please download the PG apps and sign in with your SingPass. For more details, please refer to T2W4 Parent Notification: 6.Implementation of Parents Gateway Here’s a video on what PG can do. https://youtu.be/PCM5o8jAncc You can also use the QR code below to view the video:
