Chapter 5

After more than an hour of just crying inside her car in a secluded place at the

side of the road, Dara wiped her tears away from her cheeks. She fumbledinside her dashboard, praying to God that a concealer is tucked somewhereinside there. She was never too fond of makeup, but Bom insisted that shellbring a concealer and a lipstick anywhere she goes. Youll never know, youmight badly need it someday, Bom said trying to convince her. And indeed,Bom is right, she badly needs a concealer now, she doesnt want to worry hergroup mate by seeing her puffy red eyes. Theyll definitely ask whathappened, and shes in no condition to retell what she saw in Jiyongsapartment now.

A minute later, she finally located the concealer beneath all the stuff inside herglove compartment. After applying an ample amount on her bags and otherparts of her face, she stuffed back the concealer to where she found it anddrove home.

Slowly, Dara turned the door knob open, trying hard to prevent it fromsqueaking loudly. It is still five in the afternoon, her members might be athome, and the last thing she wants to happen is her explaining to them whyshe went home earlier than expected. She tiptoed towards her own room afterlocking the front door.

She sighed in relief noticing that no one is around the dorm. They might be inthe mall now, she thought.

She removed her shoes and proceeded to her closet, planning to change tomore comfortable clothes. Todays events got her so tired, she just wanted toslump into her bed and sleep everything off, wishing tomorrow when shewakes up, shell realize she was just having a dream~~a nightmare.

Twisting and turning left and right trying to find the most comfortable positionto sleep got Dara more tired than ever. What she saw earlier still haunted her.She still cant believe it happened, that everything between her and Jiyong isnow over.

I thought he said they were just friends. I trusted his words months ago.Tears started flowing down her eyes again. She cant help them fromdropping. Her body shook soundlessly from suppressing her sobs. Neverhave I even doubted him. Then what does the scene earlier means? Did

he lie to me? He said he said he loves her. All this time, he wascheating on me.

Tears didnt stop from falling the whole night. She hasnt even had the chanceto catch her sleep. She just laid there on her bed, tears flowing endlessly likea broken faucet, and heart clenching so hard she felt like theres somethingimpeding her breathing.

Turning his head left and right, Jiyong strode down the hallway of the YGbuilding. He was praying so hard he can find Dara somewhere inside thebuilding.

Rooms after rooms, he entered trying to search for Dara, but it seems likeluck is not on his side for he havent seen even just her shadow.

Jiyong was turning open another knob when his phone rang. He immediatelyfished out his mobile from his pocket, checking who the caller is before

answering. Babe

Ok babe, Ill be there in a minute. Bye.he put back his phone inside hispocket and ran towards the elevator to go down the ground floor.

Bom hurriedly approached Dara's room after hearing the news from theirse7en sunbae-nim. She was out in the mall with the maknaes when se7encalled to inform her about what happened earlier. He wanted them to keep aneye of their Ssantokki. After ending the call, Bom told the maknaes that theyneed to cancel their shopping and head home. On their way, she informed thegirls the reason for se7en's call.

*knock *knock

"Ssantokki, are you there?" Bom called out behind the door. The maknaesdecided to give their unnies a time to talk, so they didnt approach Darasroom, but settled in the hallway so they can hear any commotion, if therell beone. After hearing nothing from the other side of the door, Bom turned the

knob and decided to go in.

"Dee, I've heard." she approached the bed and settled beside Dara.

"Yeah? Heard what Bommie?" Dara acted as if nothing was wrong.

"Stop pretending as if nothing is wrong Dee, Se7en-sunbae called me earlier.Besides, your eyes and nose can't lie. Tell me, how are you right now?"

"Im fine now Bommie-ya. Now that you're here, I'm fine." Dara smiled at herto make a point. But Bom knows her all too well, she can't be deceived bythose smiles that can't reach her now blank eyes. Her once cheerful and livelyeyes look red and puffy, but above all that, it seems to have lost its usuallively spark.

Bom knew she can't fish more details about what Dara is feeling right now.She knew her best friend will choose to shut up and keep it all to herself. Shefelt pity for her. But she knew better than to show it, so she just thought ofways to make Dara forget today's events.

"Yeah, I see you're fine." She smiled mischievously and started tickling Dara'ssides.

"Yah! Bommie, stop that!" Dara's boisterous laughter can now be heardechoing in her room. After hearing their Dara unnie's laughter, the maknaessneaked inside the room.

For minutes, Bom continued to tickle Dara's sides while the maknaes watchedin amusement hearing Dara's laughters. But then, as time passes, Dara'slaughters slowly turned into sniffs, until loud sobs can be heard boominginside the room. Bom stopped tickling Dara and engulfed her into her arms.CL dashed to the bed to join in hugging her Dara unnie while Minzy stayedrooted on her spot, feeling like she swallowed a lump on her throat. Shehasnt heard her favorite unnie cried this hard. Yes, her unnie was once a cry-baby, but as the years have passed, she hasnt seen her unnie shed a tear.She displayed a lady tough enough to withstand criticisms thrown left andright at her, not once had she seen a tear drop from her unnie's eyes. Shelooks up to her unnie for being so strong. But now, she is seeing right in frontof her, the unnie she loved so much, crumble and cry like there's notomorrow.

Minutes turned to hours. Dara was still crying, but the sobs are now replacedby occasional sniffs. She was like a broken faucet. She can't stop the tearsfrom flowing. She hadn't said a single word. Minzy is now sitting on the bed,left hand on Dara's back. She wanted to hug her unnie, to stop her fromcrying, but she knew her unnie needed this time to heal, in her opinion, a manlike her Jiyong oppa doesn't deserve a tear from her favorite unnie. Sheloathes him. She was so disappointed. She thought the oppa she once lookedup to will never hurt her Dara unnie. Well, obviously, she thought wrong.

Chaerin, on the other hand, is controlling her anger. She wants to storm the

BigBangs dorm and demand to see her Jiyong oppa to ask him why the hellhe did it to her Dara unnie. She was already devising a plan to give her oppa

the punishment that he deserves. But as their groups leader, she needs tokeep calm now and offer her unnie a shoulder to cry on. Shell do the restlater.

Bom fisted her left hand while patting Daras back with her right. She neverwanted to see her best friend fall apart like this. Their loving Ssantokki. Shedoesnt deserve any of this. Youll pay Jiyong! I wont let you break herheart ever again. You good for nothing asshole.

Dara wiped all her remaining tears and with a hoarse voice said, "Ahh., I'mfine now, let's all eat ice cream!" trying to sound cheerful once again, but sheobviously failed basing from the pitying looks her friends are giving her."Come on you guys, i want to eat chocolate flavored ice cream! Its been awhile since Ive last eaten those delights." Once again, she tried.

Seeing their beloved Ssantokki struggled to act cheerful, Bom tried to helpher. "Ok, let's go out for ice cream, but let me change my dress first, coz if youhaven't seen, I'm soaked in the front, my bra's peeking for everyone to see."

Chaerin understood what her unnie is trying to do, so she helped too. "Aigoo~Bommie unnie, don't talk about boobs here, Dara unnie might cry again forjealousy. kekeke"

"Yah! Do you really have to point out that my boobs are flat, not like yours,huh? Mind you, they aren't as flat as you think they are, see?" Dara protestedand cupped her breasts to make a point. "It's just enough for my petite body.See?"

"Yeah unnie, but still not as big as ours." Minzy joined teasing her unnie andstuck her tongue out. "Anyway, I agree, let's go out! I'll just change to morecomfortable clothes." And one by one, the girls went out from Dara's room.
