Getting Involved

Camp-o-ree

As you know, Elemukulek chapter staff’s at the Riverbend district camp-o-ree.

We still need a theme for this event, if you have any ideas you can contact

Chris Faison. We all encourage you to staff at this event, without us there is no

camp-o-ree. The event is January 13th – 16

th

Website!!!!

Have you ever been sitting at home and wondered about information in the

chapter? Well if that ever happens you can check out our chapter website. If

you do not know, our chapter’s website is now on facebook. It’s a place for

Ducks everywhere to see updates and upcoming events! There are only sixty

nine members on our website and we are hoping that the entire chapter will be

a part of this group. The groups name is Elemukulek Chapter. If you have any

comments, questions, or concerns the person to contact is Cole Gabriel our

website committee chairman. Cole’s email is – [email protected]

Cub-o-reeCub-o-ree is coming up soon and we need your help. How? Well we need ideas

for webelo games. Troop 321 is helping with the parking and different things

around the event, but the more people there the better. The problem is that the

event dates are November 5-7, which are also the dates of section seminar. If

you have any webelo game ideas please contact John Batten our cub-o-ree

chairman.

LLD

Hey ducks, who went to LLD? If you didn’t and don’t even know what LLD is

here is some information about it. LLD stands for Lodge Leadership

Development. What did we do at LLD? Well we took classes about how to lead

a chapter or lodge. Classes included sash and dash prevention, cerimonies, and

many other fun things. Classes may not sound like fun but we also played

games that built teamwork within the individual chapters and the lodge.

Everyone had a great time at LLD and if you did not go you missed out but

hopefully you will consider it for next year.
