TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at parat the sale unless satisfactory credit arrangements have beenmade previous to the sale. The right of property shall not pass untilafter settlement is made. All settlements must be made with theclerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. Theauctioneer shall have the right to refuse bids from anyone who hasa previous record of default in payment or who has not madeproper credit clearance to the sale with the owner or SalesManager.

BIDDING: Each animal is to be sold to the highest bidder. No by-bidding will be permitted. A reasonable price base may be set.

DISPUTES: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened betweenthe parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be theperson from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters is final.

PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Errors discovered in the catalogue will becorrected by announcements from the auction stand at sale timeand such corrections will take precedence over the printed matterin the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention toannouncements.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: Each animal will carry papersissued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyers for eachanimal after settlement has been made.

BREEDERS GUARANTEE, BULLS: Should any bull (14) fourteenmonths of age or over, fail to prove a breeder after being used oncows known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writingto the seller within (6) six months following date of purchase or (6)six months after the bull has reached (14) fourteen months of age.The seller will then have the right and privilege of (6) six monthsto prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze.

In no event shall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price.

The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodiesafter the animal has been sold nor for sickness not apparent atsale time.

EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In cases where the animal was subjected to hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques afterthe sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.

SETTLEMENT: Transportation charges on animals returned to theseller are for account of the purchaser. No incidental expensessuch as feed, care, A.I., signing fees, interest, veterinary charges,etc., will be charged by either party when making settlement. If theseller is successful in proving the animal in question to be a breeder, the said animal will be reclaimed by the purchaser at hisexpense. Should the seller fail to prove the animal a breeder, thenthe buyer is guaranteed a satisfactory replacement F.O.B. ranchor location of origin or a refund of the actual price. Should a dispute arise over the quality of the replacement animal, the SaleManagement will appoint a mediator.

ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protectthe safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sales manager, auctioneer, or sellers assume any responsibility in this matter anddisclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident orloss of property.

MAIL OR TELEPHONE BIDS: Bidders unable to attend the salemay phone or mail their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer, or special representatives. Bids must bereceived in sufficient time prior to the sale.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS: The above terms and conditions ofthe sale shall continue a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals followingpurchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction whichis not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.

producing some of the best beef in the industry. Proudthat many of the farms and ranches are repeat cus-tomers – customers who are also friends and neigh-bours who share the same appreciation for quality cat-tle.

This year’s bull pen is probably a pen in which allpens to follow will be measured by. I’ve added morebulls to my consignment while still being capable of increasing the quality. No bullshave been pre-sold. The bulls coming to Veteran have been culled and scrutinizedto ensure functionality, disposition and longevity. The task of growing out yearlingbulls is not an easy one. If pushed hard you may see big gains and weights. But thehealth of the young bull is the price paid. This is why for the third year in a row wehave allowed the bulls to grow out on free choice hay and the same pelleted ration.A pellet that contains no grain. No grain equals no harmful starch which is ever soimportant to the health of a yearling bull’s rumen.

The bulls are available for your appraisal anytime. If you have any questions don’thesitate to call before the sale or track me down sale day. No one knows my bullsbetter than me, so if I can assist in your selections it would be my pleasure. our best two year old bulls are on offer again with none being sold as yearlings ortwo year olds prior to the sale. Being commercial cattlemen, we understand yourneed to produce thick high performance calves. Our offering of bulls are the ranch-ers kind – a consistent set of easy fleshing, thick bulls with lots of hair. Calving easeis also important to us along with high performance. Our personal guarantee comeswith every bull we sell – good feet and sound overall structure and our assurancethat the bulls will work for you for years to come. Our program includes a very rigidvaccination protocol as a calf and again as a yearling. As usual, all our bulls havebeen semen tested prior to the sale by Dr. David Weeks of Consort.

Terms andConditions…

TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at parat the sale unless satisfactory credit arrangements have beenmade previous to the sale. The right of property shall not pass untilafter settlement is made. All settlements must be made with theclerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. Theauctioneer shall have the right to refuse bids from anyone who hasa previous record of default in payment or who has not madeproper credit clearance to the sale with the owner or SalesManager.

BIDDING: Each animal is to be sold to the highest bidder. No by-bidding will be permitted. A reasonable price base may be set.

DISPUTES: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened betweenthe parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be theperson from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters is final.

PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Errors discovered in the catalogue will becorrected by announcements from the auction stand at sale timeand such corrections will take precedence over the printed matterin the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention toannouncements.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: Each animal will carry papersissued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyers for eachanimal after settlement has been made.

BREEDERS GUARANTEE, BULLS: Should any bull (14) fourteenmonths of age or over, fail to prove a breeder after being used oncows known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writingto the seller within (6) six months following date of purchase or (6)six months after the bull has reached (14) fourteen months of age.The seller will then have the right and privilege of (6) six monthsto prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze.

In no event shall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price.

The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodiesafter the animal has been sold nor for sickness not apparent atsale time.

EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In cases where the animal was subjected to hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques afterthe sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.

SETTLEMENT: Transportation charges on animals returned to theseller are for account of the purchaser. No incidental expensessuch as feed, care, A.I., signing fees, interest, veterinary charges,etc., will be charged by either party when making settlement. If theseller is successful in proving the animal in question to be a breeder, the said animal will be reclaimed by the purchaser at hisexpense. Should the seller fail to prove the animal a breeder, thenthe buyer is guaranteed a satisfactory replacement F.O.B. ranchor location of origin or a refund of the actual price. Should a dispute arise over the quality of the replacement animal, the SaleManagement will appoint a mediator.

ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protectthe safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sales manager, auctioneer, or sellers assume any responsibility in this matter anddisclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident orloss of property.

MAIL OR TELEPHONE BIDS: Bidders unable to attend the salemay phone or mail their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer, or special representatives. Bids must bereceived in sufficient time prior to the sale.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS: The above terms and conditions ofthe sale shall continue a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals followingpurchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction whichis not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
