KINDRED FOREST YOGA FOR KIDS! GRADES 2-5

Yoga is a non-secular system of physical exercise concentrating on the body, breath and awareness. Kids Yoga is geared toward children ages 7-11 designed to incorporate age-appropriate breathing techniques, postures, partner poses, games, time-in (internal focus), rest, and visualizations. Each class incorporates a theme such as: Posture & Alignment, Balance & Fitness, Strength & Flexibility, Support & Teamwork, Cause & Effect, Peace & Kindness and more. Welcome to the Fall term of Outdoor Wilderness where we will have a blast learning through adventure! Join us as we turn Juanita Elementary into our own wilderness. We will learn valuable skills that will help students develop an appreciation for our natural world, empower them to work through adversity, and build leadership skills. We'll play team building games and learn outdoor living skills like shelter building, leave-no-trace ethics, orienteering using maps and compasses, and how to make the perfect s'more! We have great activities for all weather and will bring shelters to keep us dry on those rainy Seattle days like our Scandinavian tipi! Please let us know if you need assistance with warm or

PIANO KEYBOARD CLUB (Musical Minds) GRADES K-5 Kids will have an opportunity to learn to play their favorite songs on electric keyboards. Radio hits, movie and television themes are made so easy, that our students will be playing them after the very first class! The club is a combination of keyboard piano lessons and a music learning workshop, which uses a clever visual method to teach the basics of music reading and piano playing. We've developed learning games designed to teach kids basic music reading skills and playing techniques, in ways that are fun, engaging, and stimulating. Coding with Kids: Animation Maker - Beginner/Intermediate Enter the world of movie and game animations!
