One of the steps for the British colonial government to restructure the education system after Japanese occupation

Free Education◦ School fees are not compulsory for kids who

attend the vernacular school from lower stages

English was compulsary to be taught at all primary school

Only 2 types of secondary school are established. (Middle-School and High School)

Vocational education introduced as enshrined in Laporan Pelajaran 1938

The Purpose

To rebuild the education system.

To expand every school system.

Results

Vanished in 1949 with Malayan UnionIt is because of Cheeseman Plan not

focusing on Social integrate among multi-racial society.

So their focus was more on building other school. (Reformation of education system)
