Cellar Hand Punch Down Red 2013 VQA +200931 LRS $14.99/ LIC $21.65 The winemaker’s assistants, more commonly known as ‘cellar hands’ wrangled a few choice barrels and got the go-

ahead from the boss to create their own special blend. Their mission? Create an easy drinking red blend that was fruit-

forward and juicy. Mission accomplished. Cellar Hand Punch down Red is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon,

Syrah and Cabernet Franc made to add life to your next gathering or to kick back and relax with. Happy sipping!

This is our first vintage of the white wine we call Lost Inhibitions. We asked ourselves; what would be possible if we

lost all of our inhibitions, if we checked any pre-conceived notions at the door, and set out to create a truly spectacular

wine that flooded all of the senses? We wanted our white blend to have a great personality, beautiful aroma complexity,

supremely intense flavours, and a huge mouthfeel. The inaugural vintage of Lost Inhibitions answers our questions

resoundingly in the affirmative. Lightly golden in colour, the wine opens with intense aromas of apricot, nectarine,

rose petal, jasmine, and limey citrus zest. On the palate, the wine is full, rich, and explosive, with intense floral and

Church & State Wines Lost Inhibitions Red 2014 VQA New! LRS $15.00/LIC $17.29

Prude Series+850487 Lewd Series+553008 * 51.7% Merlot, 30.6% Cabernet Franc, 13.6% Malbec and 4.1% Petit Verdot

The Lost Inhibitions wines are made to the same grueling standards as our Church & State Wines, but offer a refreshing

take on traditional label conventions. Made to enjoy with friends, family and great food, these two unique blends over-

deliver. With over 100 labels in the series, you’re sure to be surprised with every bottle. This is our first vintage of the

red wine we call Lost Inhibitions. We asked ourselves: what would be possible if we lost all of our inhibitions, if we

checked any pre-conceived notions at the door, and set out to create a truly spectacular wine that flooded all of the

senses? It has been carefully crafted to be a big, rich wine with intense fruit flavours, soft tannins and velvety

mouthfeel. The goal was to produce a wine that offers immense drinking pleasure early in its life, but that also carries

enough structure to allow for cellaring into the medium term. Dark red in colour, the wine opens with intense sweet

black cherry and black currant aromas with hints of cocoa and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is incredibly full, rich,

and seductive. A symphony of black-fruited flavours flood the senses and compliment the incredibly silky, rich

mouthfeel and fresh, cleansing acidity. 14.5% GOLD WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada 2015

Elephant Island Stellaport 2011 +398602 LRS $20.37 / LIC $24.39 A port-style wine made exclusively from estate grown Stella cherries. Cherries are harvested from a specific orchard

site which receives concentrated southwest exposure for the duration of the ripening season, producing extremely

sweet, concentrated fruit. In crafting Stellaport, we employ the Spanish technique of “solera”. Through this process a

mother barrel was established in 2001. Each year we release half the barrel replacing it with the current year’s vintage.

The 2011 release of Stellaport captures the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 vintages in

Meyer Family Vineyards Okanagan Valley Chardonnay 2015 VQA +160580

LRS $15.01 / LIC $17.29 This wine is a blend of the Old Main Road Vineyard on the Naramata Bench and the McLean Creek Road vineyard

located in Okanagan Falls, BC. The juice was cold settled for two days then transferred off its heavy sediment to a

stainless steel vessel. A long cool fermentation of four weeks ensued and the wine was left on its fine lees for four

months. Drink now through 2019. 400 cases produced.

Meyer Family Vineyards Tribute Series Chardonnay 2012 VQA +838532

LRS $22.98 / LIC $26.09 Our family owned “Old Main Road Vineyard” is located on a terrace on the famed Naramata Bench, BC. The fifteen-

year-old vineyard is planted 100% with Chardonnay vines. The northerly aspects of the vineyard cause the vines to

slowly ripen the fruit producing a greater spectrum of flavor while still retaining a good level of acidity and minerality.

At the winery the fruit was fed directly into the press with an ensuing long gentle pressing employed. Only the finest,

purest juice from the early stages of the pressing was used for this wine with the more astringent so called “hard press”

kept separate. A long cool fermentation began in stainless steel vessels where it remained for the majority of the

ferment. The must was then transferred to 100% French oak (33% new) to complete fermentation. The wine was left

“sur lees” for 10 months without battonage. A natural malo-lactic fermentation occurred in late spring. The Tribute

Series is a dedication to a Canadian for an outstanding achievement in their field. Each year, the Meyer Family will

donate $5,000 toward a non-for profit foundation, endowment or scholarship as a way of encouraging or honoring the

legacies of these Canadians. The 2011 Tribute Series is dedicated to Winnifred Mary Stewart. Winnifred Mary Stewart

founded the first school in Western Canada for children with developmental disabilities in 1953. In 2013 the Winnifred

Mary Stewart Association which she created will celebrate its 60th Anniversary. Winnifred’s journey and perseverance,

Meyer Family Vineyards Micro Cuvée Chardonnay 2011 VQA +139717 LRS $41.27/LIC $47.89 2011 was another challenging vintage for the Okanagan as it was in 2010, a cool wet spring with unsettled cooler

weather until mid-August. We did however have a moderately warm somewhat calm spell of weather through

flowering which gave us an excellent fruit set which led to fuller bunches; we harvested 4 tons per acre from Old Main

Road. From the start of veraison in mid-August until the end of September the weather was find with daytime

temperatures in the mid to high twenties, higher night-time temperatures in September also led to lower acid levels in

2011. Like 2010, the wonderful conditions in September gave us slower ripening producing fresh, crisp flavours of

yellow and white citrus and orchard fruits. Unlike 2010 though, we had a turn of bad weather for most of October, with

stormy cold fronts and some rain. This had us a little nervous due to possible disease pressure from botrytis and having

to harvest earlier than expected. With good fortune on our side we hand harvested on the 24th of October and the 1st

and 2nd of November with the fruit in excellent condition with some botrytis infection (roughly 5%) and excellent

balance of sugars, acidity and pure flavours which Chardonnay is known for producing. 110 cases produced 13.5%
