Tourism in Chhattisgarh has many dimensions. The
state has a number of things to offer you like thundering
waterfalls, national parks, lakes and rich wildlife and
cultural heritage.
In order to promote tourism in Chhattisgarh,
Chhattisgarh tourism board has already taken many
initiatives.
Chhattisgarh Tourism offers an amazing blend of
historical and natural beauty. It has immense potential
to become as one of the prime tourism destinations of
India.
All over the world, Rajim is famous for the Rajim Kumbh
Mela. It’s a worth noticing fact that there is another Triveni
Sangam situated in Chhattisgarh.
There is a holy confluence of three rivers Mahanadi,
Pairi, and Sondur, called Triveni Sangam is at Rajim. It
is also known as “The Prayag of Chhattisgarh”.
Rajim is famous for its rich cultural heritage and the
ancient temples. Every year Rajim kumbh fair is organized
here which is very famous.
Shri Rajiv Lochan Mandir, dedicated to lord Vishnu is
situated here which is a marvel of architecture.
Chitrakoot falls or “The Niagara Falls of Chhattisgarh” is
located in Jadalpur district of Chhattisgarh on the
Indravati River.
The height of the waterfall of Chitrakoot falls is close to 100
ft. and it is one of the largest waterfalls in India.
With its immense potential in developing the Chhattisgarh
Tourism, the state has taken a number of steps which are
involved in implementing and developing the state.
Raipur International Cricket stadium is the second largest in
India and fourth largest in the world by seating capacity.
Naya Raipur would be the fourth planned capital city after
Gandhinagar, Chandigarh, and Bhubaneshwar.
During the rainy season people will love to watch the
exceptionally gorgeous beauty of water in rainy season when
water acquires brown colour due to erosion of soil. It is still an
