STATEMENT ON THE COST:

In an efort to make ChicaGO SEMP an

experience where students begin to knowwhat its like to be a missionary, we stronglyencourage team members to raise their ownsupport. The main way students usually do thisis by sending out support letters which will beprovided by NMC. While $520 (not includingthe deposit) may seem like a lot o money, ourexperience has been that raising the necessary support isnt a problem as longas the student does his/her part. Other ways students can raise support include:personal jobs, amily support, etc. More on how the support raising process

works as ar as sending out support letters will be communicated once the teamis established.

ORGANIZATION WE ARE PARTERNING WITH:

SEMP (Students Equipped to Minister to Peers) is designed specifcally or students

who cry out or a deeper relationship with God and are serious about sharing

their aith with their riends. This week-long event will be a holistic equipping

experience that will stretch, challenge and prepare them or peer ministry.

THINGS WE WILL BE DOING:

Students will spend most o their week on Moody Bible Institutes campusattending several hours o intense training which they will then put into practicein the Chicago area. Our ministry in Chicago will be centered on building

relationships and sharingChrists love with Chicagoresidents. Among other things,students will be given theopportunity to minister through1-on-1 conversations, prayer

walks, street evangelism, etc.
