Chicago is Great for BusinessFor the 3rd year in a row, the Windy City has been chosen as the best metro area for new and expanding businesses by Site Selection Magazine. This is good news for the people of the city, as there is more opportunity while companies thrive in the commerce-friendly setting.

What Were the Qualifications?
To qualify for the Site Selection Magazine distinction, businesses had to meet one of three criteria: 1. Invest at least $1 million2. Create at least 20 new jobs3. Add at least 20,000 square
feet in floor space
What Did Chicago Enter?
Over 300 opening businesses and expansions were used as entries for the competition. These amounted
to an impressive 13,400 new positions and over $3 billion in new investments in 2015.
Business Breeds More Business
New businesses are being met with enthusiasm and a host of services and workers eager to take part in the commercial growth. For instance, a bevy of corporate moving services exist to take advantage of the upsurge in activity. Food and HVAC services are taking notice as well.
