child care network annual report
DESCRIPTION
Fiscal Year 2012TRANSCRIPT
Dear Child Care Network Supporter, We hope you enjoy our 2012 Annual Report!
For over 40 years, CCN has been committed to improving the quality of child care and providing resources to help the community make educated choices about early childhood education. Access to quality child care is the key for parents to sustain and advance their careers, while creating a pathway of opportunity for their young children to succeed in school and life.
As we venture into another year of service, we anticipate expansion of programming with increased efficiencies and accountability. We are developing new scholarship programs to serve the needs of families experiencing homelessness, while expanding our early childhood scholarship program into Livingston and Genesee Counties.
We are also expanding our workforce development offerings and partnerships to include healthy living, financial health and family engagement, so early childhood educators are able to integrate these essential life skills a fun component of the early learning experience.
To accomplish these goals, we solicit your voice (to share with others the work we do), your time (to help us plan and orchestrate events), and your gift (to help us make every experience memorable for families, staff and partners).
Thank you in advance for helping young children and their families achieve their dreams.
Sincerely,
James Meyer Board Chair
