BLOSSOMS REPORT

ABOUT BLOSSOMS

Blossoms, an Intra University Fest conducted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University) that begins

as an Intra Departmental Cultural Fest, culminating into an Inter Deanery Competition.

Blossoms’19 included four major events, Stage, Literary, Art & Theatre. These four events were

divided into 17 qualifying events namely: Indian Dance Classical Solo, Indian Dance Group

(Non-Theme), Indian Electric Music Group, Western Electric Music Group, Western Acoustics

Music Group, Pot Pourri, Quiz, Extempore, Debate, Dumb Charades, JAM, Street Theatre,

Proscenium Theatre, Rangoli, Painting, Pot Art, Poster Painting & Cartooning.

MOTTO

"It’s not about whether we win or lose; it’s about how many people remember us when we

leave the stage"

SPONSORS

Wonderla, Bangalore sponsored Wonder la Passes for the winners of the events of Blossoms

2019 providing us with 25 total passes and a photo booth to promote Blossoms.

• Website launched to keep the students updated about the events.

• Promotional video of Blossoms released in all the Social Media pages including,

YouTube.

• Video of Dean, HOD and faculties encouraging students and wishing them luck for

Blossoms 19 released in Social Media pages, including Website.

• Ex-Christites wished their juniors luck and video of the same was released in Social

Media accounts, including YouTube.

• Photo booth was set up for promotion.

• A volunteer was assigned to write “Event of the Day” on black/green boards of the

classes’ every day.

• Event of the day along with date and venue was posted in the Instagram stories, messages

too were circulated in class groups regarding the same.

• “Word of Mouth” technique was also utilized.

• The students of MCom performed a flash mob with 60 students on 10th December 2018

to promote Blossoms.

• 22nd November was declared as inauguration date for blossoms, where students from

BCom as well as MCom performed.

• We encouraged participation by introducing Wonderla passes as the prize for the winners

of the events.
