Year 2016 is over. Year 2017 has begun. It's the time of the year to reflect on the past 365 days and cherish every memory you made and think what could make year 2017 even better. This is also the time of the year when we make resolutions or set our goals to move us forward. Meanwhile, I would like to thank each of you who made not only me but others smile. Thank you very much: a) To our Parish Staff who take the leadership role and collectively work in
developing a welcoming community, ensuring services, forming our young children and teens, preparing our couples-to-be for marriage, enriching our families and building a community of disciples.
b) Our School Principal and Staff who mold our children according to the examples and teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
c) Our Pastoral Care Ministry in bringing Christ especially to our sick brothers and sisters both in and outside our parish community.
d) Our Liturgical and Prayer Ministries in providing a place and aura conducive to prayer from welcoming to singing and celebrating the Eucharist, with the support of our ushers, sacristans, altar servers, Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, choir, the art & environment and altar linens.
e) Our Building and Properties for re-creating and transforming our church facilities, Parish Pastoral Council and Finance Council members in steering the parish including the money counters.
f) Our Outreach Ministry through HOPE in providing food to our needy brothers and sisters.
g) To Fr. Scott, our Deacons and guest priests in celebrating the Eucharist. h) To ALL OF YOU, a grateful community of believers, who generously share
your blessings in every way: time, talent and treasure. Let each of us be thankful to God through the child Jesus during this wonderful season of Christmas. May this New Year bring us peace and joy. And as we walk our path may it bring us fulfillment. Happy New Year! God bless, Fr. Rolyn Francisco

education foundation program called “Protecting God’s Children for Adults” and
required to enroll in a foundation class prior to serving.

El 2016 ya termino. El 2017 ya comenzó. Es el tiempo del año para reflejar en los 365 días pasados y apreciar sus memorias, y también para pensar en cómo hacer el 2017 mejor. Es también un tiempo donde hacemos nuestras resoluciones y nos ponemos metas para seguir adelante. Yo quiero darle las gracias a cada uno de ustedes que no solamente me hicieron sonreír a mí, pero a otros también:
a) A nuestros empleados de la parroquia que toman el papel de líderes y trabajan juntos para desarrollar una comunidad cariñosa, asegurándose de servir, formando a nuestros niños y niñas y jóvenes, preparando a nuestras parejas para el matrimonio, enriqueciendo a nuestras familias y construyendo una comunidad de discípulos.
b) A nuestra principal de escuela y los empleados que ensenen a nuestros hijos e hijas de acuerdo a los ejemplos y enseñanzas de nuestro Señor, Jesucristo.
c) A nuestro ministerio de cuidado pastoral por traer a Cristo, especialmente a nuestros hermanos y hermanas enfermas adentro y fuera de nuestra comunidad.
d) A nuestros ministerios de liturgia y oración por proveer un lugar cómodo para la oración desde bien venir hasta cantar y celebrar la Eucaristía, con el apoyo de los que ayudan a sentar a la gente, los sacristanes, los monaguillos, lectores, ministros extraordinarios de comunión, el coro, los de arte y ambiente y los de lienzos del altar.
e) A nuestros miembros que ayudaron a re-crear y transformar la iglesia, los miembros de consejo pastoral de la parroquia y los del consejo financiero que ayudaron a la parroquia incluyendo los contadores de dinero.
f) A nuestro ministerio de H.O.P.E. en proveer comida para nuestros hermanos y hermanas necesitadas.
g) Al Padre Scott, a nuestros diáconos y todos los Padres invitados para la celebración de la Eucaristía.
A todos ustedes, una comunidad de creyentes muy agradecidos, que comparten generosamente sus bendiciones en todo tipo de maneras: con tiempo, talentos y tesoros. Dejemos que cada uno de nosotros le dé gracias a Dios a través del niño Jesús en esta temporada tan bella de Navidad. Que este Nuevo Año nos traiga paz y alegría. The first Noel, the angels did say, was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay. In fields where they lay keeping their sheep on a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel, noel, noel, noel. Born is the King of Israel.
They looked up and saw the star, shining in the east beyond them far. And to the earth it gave great light and so it continued both day and night.
And by the light of that same star, three Wise Men came from country far. To seek for a King was their intent, and to follow the star wherever it went.
