Christmas Day Today marks the end of the Advent season and the beginning of the Christmas season. We have lighted four candles these past four weeks and asked God to help us be present to our neighbors and friends. Now in the Christmas season we are called to be Christ in the flesh to our world. Let us pray… God, you became human through the obedience of a simple young woman named Mary. Mary is our model of faith. May we be faithful to your word as Mary was. Give us the courage to face each day with the yes that Mary gave to you. We ask this through the incarnate God, who comes to us again during this Christmas season. Amen.

Please pray for Molly who has had her double mastectomy. Unfortunately more tumors were found so she will need additional chemotherapy. With your help, Lord, Molly just wants to be here to raise her 4 children. (12/21)

Please pray for Colleen's family and friends, as she has gone to her eternal reward. May they be comforted by our prayers, our support, and our love. (12/24)

Please pray for Jakob who is struggling at this time. Lord, provide your guidance to help him through this difficult time and provide strength to his family as they try to support him. (12/24)

Please pray for Steve as he heals from surgery. Pray for strength for his wife who is caring for him while battling her own health issues. Lord, hold your faithful servants close and heal them both. (12/24)
