18th - 19th December 2014

On 18th December we prepared Christmas Eve supper inour school according to old Polish customs and traditions.

We shared the blessed wafer, exchanged wishes , atetraditional dishes (red beet soup with mushroom

dumplings, mushroom soup, fish, sauerkraut with beans ormushrooms, dumplings stuffed with mushrooms and

cabbage, noodles with poppy seeds and honey, poppy seedcake and dried fruit compote). We also prepared somerecipes for Christmas Eve dishes and a lot of Christmas

decorations. After the supper we sang carols – traditionalsongs about the birth of Christ.

On 19th December we had Christmas school assembly,, we exchanged wishes, sang carols and everybody had a

wonderful time.
