• 1590 bags sold & delivered
• Approx. $4,600 profit to the band
• Delivery went smoothly

2016 Spring Band Trip Dallas April 15 – 18
Logistics for Parents
• Tuesday, April 12 – Medication Collection – 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the Band Hall
– All drugs must be in Original Container
• Friday, April 15 – Depart 4:30 pm – Early dismissal day
– 1 roll-aboard size suitcase dropped off in band hall Friday afternoon
– Small backpack to bring on the bus
– Garment Bag for concert uniform
– Box lunch provided for bus ride to Dallas
– Bring snacks

• Duties:
• Bank Deposits – Average 2-3 deposits per month (Chase Bank)
– Maintain Google Drive spreadsheets (shared w/Treasurer 1)
• Coordinate Corporate Matching Gifts
• Send out Tax Receipts
• Attend Executive Board Meetings & Booster Meetings
• Able to keep the position for two years (Freshman or Sophomore parent)
Secretary
• Record keeping of all meetings
• Keeper of the Bylaws
• Student enrollment list and records
• Chair nominating committee
President
• Liaise with directors
• Communication to parents
• Money Day
Fundraising
• Poinsettia sales (fall)
• Mulch sales (spring)
• Spirit nights
• Coordinate with Mum Factory
• Major effort to diversify fund raising
• Target to bring funds in from outside band family

• Season runs March – October (Homecoming)
• All types of help needed now. – Cutting, stapling

– QC, sales, distribution (in fall)
• Work from home or in Mum Room (T-10)
• Current hours: 9:30 – 3:00, Tues – Thurs

Nominating Committee
• Identify suitable and willing candidates for all board positions for 2016-2017
• Must include at least one parent representative per grade level
• Responsibilities – Meet a couple of times between now and May 24 – Contact potential candidates to gauge interest – Duties spread among 5-6 committee members – Report progress at April 12 booster meeting
• Board elected at May 24 booster meeting
