Review of Janmashtami CelebrationIn the religious month of August - the entire country celebrates the blissful occasion of Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, the festival that marks the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna is one of the most admired/popular and well-loved divinity of Hindus and is taken as an absolute superlative deity. His celestial stories which are full of antics as well as life altering lessons are popular and salient for all ages. He is so radiantly cherished because of his charming nature and compassion - that two of his names were ‘Mohan’ and ‘Manohar’ which literally means a charmer who can enrapture your heart. Lord Krishna is also a naïve/idealistic paradigm of a true companion/friend – who is like a rare gem, very hard to find and if found one, it is no less than a miracle. Promoting this iconic friendship – of peer of the realm “Lord Krishna” – RCRG celebrated Janmashtami with lots of Enthusiasm, Fun, Frolic and merriment. The entire celebration consisted of Dahi Handi - flouting of pot filled with scrumptious curd and cream by our lovely- adorable annets who were fully clad as minuscule Lord Krishna. Their ensemble-attires, embellishments/accessorize as well as maquillage were aw-aspiring and factually depicted childlike/ youthful Lord Krishna’s decent to our RCRG’s Ceremonial occasion. A heartfelt affectionate approbation to Annets Krishaa Rathod, Hayan Bagdai, Sarthak Ganatra, Arham Modi, Aahna Modi, Vyom Nathwani and Jiya Nathwani – for transpiring so cutely to lord Krishna and creating an exquisitely delightful environment. Following Dahi Handi - Ras leela/ Garba program – Krishna’s much cherished dancing accompanied with music was performed by passionate/ fervent members of RCRG - spectacularly clothed in traditional attires as well. Lovely, comrades it is very well said that when the deed is ecclesiastically pious – even the almighty graces the occurrence with his eternal charisma – his divine presence. An analogous prevalence was witnessed at Janmashtami Celebration when – Megha Raja – Unexpected Monsoon Drizzles –Showers – amorously and wholeheartedly greeted RCRG members and bestowed eternal blessings/benediction on them. Heaven opened and the water hammered down Reviving the reluctant grassy landGreen mossing the carpet bombing still Tea colored puddles the way memory barrage stillReminiscing memories that are long to live The RCRG family passionately and vehemently continued the commemoration and festivity amidst the startling down pour – depicting resolute devotion to the colossal divine being and conviction in holiness. Grand accolades to the non deterrent fortitude of RCRG members and the endeavor they had culminated in materializing this heavenly calling lucratively. We are also very appreciative to Rtn Yogesh and Ann Meet Ghodasara for organizing the entire event at their farm house and being

such a wonderful host. Their hospitality was commendable and par excellence – looking after the comfort and placate of the guest amidst the unanticipated monsoon pouring. Concurrent to the fête - a drawing competition was conducted for Annets – concomitant to the theme of Lord Krishna– wherein they engaged ardently and sculpted beautiful creations mesmerizing the fore seers at the venue. Annets – Jiya Nathwani, Tanmay Sapovadia, Swayam Mehta, Bimlesh Rout, Dhaneeahri Rout and Ridhi Bhojani were glorified - rewarded with splendid honorarium souvenirs for their jaw-dropping fine art and travail they had administered in creating one. Forasmuch as delivered– a very distinctive carnival of Janmashtami was at exhibit – scrupulously appealing and amusing each and everyone present – portraying an enduring impression in their psyche.

Review of Beauty Parlor Session at Happy SchoolThe Indian youth needs employment, empowerment and liberation from the clustering chains of unemployment and redundancy prevailing in the social order of work force these days. The majority of desired accreditation and entrustment for youngsters can be only perpetuated by providing them with vocational training besides fundamental schooling. Moreover, vocational education programs would make a real difference in the lives of countless young people nationwide; they would build self-confidence and leadership skills by allowing scholars to utilize their unique gifts and talents. Proceeding this credo a notch further – RCRG emphasizes – advocates female education,

Introduction of Youth Director – Rtn Hrishit Amlani It gives me immense pleasure and pride to introduce myself as one of the board members this year. Three years back I was introduced and installed as a second generation member. I am son of Rtn. Kishore Amlani & Ann. Meera Amlani. After completing my graduation and MBA from Mumbai and working there for a couple of years, it was difficult for me to decide to move to Rajkot, to leave my friends and the city. I didn’t know what I had in store for me in Rajkot except my family business. It’s been five years since I have joined the 40 years old family business. I am happily married to Nivetha Amlani. Rotary has helped me in making my life easier in Rajkot.Like any other Rotarian I also want our club to reach great heights, with me being an integral part of it. Rotary has changed me as a person. It gave me friends, made me more sensitive towards the society and made me more of a people's person. “Rotary has something for everyone”. There is always somebody to guide you, advice you. I will try my level best to do good for the organization in return and will try to make the best of every opportunity to help the society.

Introduction of Sergeant at Arms – Rtn Dhruv KakkadI’ve done my schooling from M. V. Dhuleshia School (Now TGES) and then moved to Mumbai for further studies in B. Com from S.I.E.S College. I did my MSc in Finance from Middlesex University, London (UK). I’m son of Charter member Rotarian. Mahendrabhai and Bharatiben Kakkad. I’m currently handling our family business named Bhishma Enterprises along with my father. It deals in Electroplating Chemicals, Polishing and Buffing materials. I also handle WealthWiise which deals in Wealth management (Mutual funds, Insurance, Bonds, Portfolio Management Services, etc). The most important life changing experiences I’ve gained are working in different job profiles at different locations over a span of 7 years. Since childhood, the Rotary philosophy of Friendship and Fellowship is already incorporated in me. I feel really lucky to be a part of the same Rotary in which my parents have been a part since the beginning. I became a Rotarian in the year 2016. Being called a Rotarian itself is a privilege and the name Rotary suggests serving Society. Being active last year in a few projects gave me in depth into Rotary work. This year, being on Board will help me understand Rotary even more and get me acquainted with more Rotarians.
