The market is changing. As your needs change, we are there with you. Today we evolve our Cisco® certifications and specializations. We’ll deepen the rewards and enable you with new skills. We’ll give you more choices to help respond to market demands, to offer hybrid IT and new business models. And connect with more partners in our ecosystem (Figures 1 and 2).

These changes can help you initiate new business conversations with your customers. You’ll have more opportunities to expand your services and solutions and become more profitable. And capture the value of the Internet of Everything.

So, what is changing? How does it benefit you? Let’s take a look.

Broaden Your Skills with CertificationsBe recognized for having Cisco’s broadest range of expertise. Earn the highest rewards. Tap into the connected partner ecosystem. Expand conversations with new lines of business.

We’re adding business architect expertise and hybrid IT to the architectures you sell today. Now, you can either provide or resell Cisco cloud and managed services in addition to on-premises solutions. And you can capture new and recurring revenue with professional and support services.

With the new requirements to attain Gold Certification you’ll need:

• Four architecture specializations

• Four Cisco Cloud or Cisco Powered cloud and managed service offers

• One Business Value Practitioner certificate

• Thirty Cisco Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) surveys with no minimum region target. However, a follow-up will be required for low scores.

You still need four CCIEs, a minimum Service attach rate of 40 percent, the same level of support infrastructure, and fulfillment of the original requirements.

Now you have more choices to attain Premier Certification. The changes also help you reach a larger market and generate recurring revenue. Stand out from your competitors and get recognized for cloud and managed services.

We’re adding hybrid IT so you can provide or resell Cisco cloud and managed services in addition to on-premises solutions.

With the new requirements to attain Premier Certification you’ll need:

• At least one Cisco Powered cloud service, Cisco Powered managed service, or Cisco cloud service

• An Express specialization or an Advanced Architecture specialization

• Ten Cisco Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) surveys with no minimum region target. However, a follow-up will be required for low scores.

You will still need the same level of support infrastructure, and must fulfill the original requirements.

With Select Certification we recognize your expertise in the SMB and midmarket space. Now you can tap into new opportunities to build your expertise through any Express (or higher) specialization including Small and Midsize Business (SMB) Specialization. Starting in late 2014 you can become Select Certified with more choices.

The Silver Certification is retiring on April 1, 2016. If you are a Silver partner you can:

• Increase your breadth and become Gold Certified

• Increase your depth to become Master Specialized.

Depth and breadth are equally important.
