Geneva Town Hall and Police Dept.

After Photos As part of an effort to preserve and revitalize their historical downtown, the Town of Geneva selected an abandoned two story brick building to serve as their new town hall and police headquarters. The rear portion of the second floor had collapsed onto the first floor as a result of a missing roof and years of neglect. Prior to our involvement, a Section 106 review had been started. Due to concerns over the methods of reconstruction, the approval of the CFF had been held. Upon our entrance into this project, Prince/Alexander had a final approval letter from DNR in 6 days. We were able to resolve issues such as providing a rated fire stairs and appropriate replacement of missing windows and maintain the integrity of the historic structure.

Benton County Courthouse Renovation and Addition

This project consisted of a historical renovation of the 1894 courthouse with additional office space, elevators and fire stairs along with a new jail addition. The renovation of the old courthouse was approximately 21,000 ft2, while the new addition was 3 floors and 7,800 ft2. Total project cost was $1.4 million. We designed the entire energy management system to share a cooling tower and boiler for all of the Benton County's courthouse and Judicial System. ADA compliant restrooms and entryways and life safety improvements were dramatically improved.
