Grower-driven demonstration program will include large-scale grower field trials (5,000 acres total) utilizing best management tools for new plantings, including grove design, planting preparation, pest management, and post-planting production practices. 20, 40 and 100 acre blocks of new plantings Renovated groves with resets can participate Plantings in all regions of the state
The goal is to provide growers with the confidence to replant and rebuild the Florida citrus industry to a level that will sustain existing infrastructure and ultimately drive expansion.
