The Flagler Humane Society would like to remind pet owners about the county wide leash law. This also applies to when on the beach. Your dog must be leashed at all times when on the beach and even in the water. There are many pet friendly beaches in this county and we would like everyone to be able to enjoy them. Donation Opportunities: The Flagler Humane Society are still collecting shoes. We welcome all shoes regardless of size, type, or condition. Additional drop off locations can be found on the Flagler Humane Society website. “Doghouse Donation Boxes” are found at all the fire stations in Flagler County. You can drop off donations anytime at your nearest fire station. FHS appreciates all donations, especially those from our Wish List (available at flaglerhumanesociety.org/wish-list). You can also purchase items via the Amazon.com link on the FHS website and ship them directly to the shelter. Outreach Adoption Events: Don’t forget that FHS have volunteers and adoptable pets at the Farmer’s Market in Flagler Beach every Friday and at PetSmart in Palm Coast every Saturday and Sunday. If you are interested in volunteering at these events, please contact Katie at [email protected]. We are actively looking for volunteers that would be willing to man a booth at Walmart on September 19-20, and October 17-18. Walmart draws in a fair amount of donations but we need you to help us with this event!!! Plan are in the works for a mini-mega adoption event to be held at the PetSmart in Daytona Beach. The event is tentatively scheduled for Sept. 19 – 20. Adoption Specials: "9 Lives for $9 - 9 times the love!" adoption special is going on for the month of August! All cats and kittens have a $9 adoption fee. Don't miss out on adding a furry friend to your home! All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip, up to date vaccinations/preventions, and 30 days free pet insurance. Upcoming Fundraisers/Events: Save the Date for the FHS annual Fast & Furriest! Run and Walk. It will be held on Saturday, August 29th at Princess Place Reserve. The timed run starts at 8 am with the walk following at 10:30. Stay for our mini festival and fun! Hope to see you there. Sign up for the run/walk at the FHS website. Public Announcements: The Flagler Humane Society has a variety of subsidized spay and neuter programs for members of the community that need to have their pets or community pets sterilized. Please call FHS at 386-445-1814, email [email protected] for questions. FHS also offers a “Pet Food Pantry” for those that are in need of assistance. Please call to see if you qualify. To keep up with Flagler Humane Society happenings – visit us on our website at www.flaglerhumanesociety.org, the FHS Facebook/twitter, or via email at

T BONE
T Bone is an awesome young man that gets along with most other dogs
and doesn’t mind cats! He is approximately 7 years young and
already neutered. He is up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped. He is a very sweet boy with some
minor separation issues. He would need a home where the pet owner works from the home because he can’t stand to be alone. His foster
mom says he is perfect in the house!
