WHat is A MUN? A MUN, or also known as a Model United Nations Conference

is an extracurricular activity in which students typically role play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees.

Diplomacy is the skill of conducting international relations and negotiations without arousing hostility and without violating your foreign policy.

In a MUN, Diplomacy is a skill that is imperative for a delegate to do well.

WhaT IS DIPLOMACY?

before a MUN is what a delegate deliberates on in the committee of a MUN.

Sample agendas: 1. Production of generic drugs in all countries with or

without patenting.

by and large the most difficult and the most important things to master.

The rules of procedure vary with different conferences and different parts of the world. However, at CityU we will be following the Harvard Rules of Procedure with a few small variations of our own.

WHat can I gain?

What can i gain? Aptitude of research in International News. Confidence to speak and debate on worldly issues

spontaneously. Develop the skill to dissect an issue and analyse the

causes and consequences and give solutions accordingly. Perspective of other highly talented individuals on

worldly issues. Make new friends. :)
