Niche Lifestyle & Design cc is a specialist lifestyle and interior design company who have worked

extensively in the Corporate and Executive Residential markets but are proud to announce our further

inclusion in the Leisure and Commercial sectors. Our work is varied and extensive and dates back to

1996, when our CEO and Creative Director Craig Whitehead first began as Craig Whitehead Interiors.

Over the years Craig has been featured in the local press, magazines and Top Billing and he now also

heads up a new division of our company – STARLICIOUS LIFESTYLE EVENTS, a niche boutique

events division catering to niche audiences, clients and guests we have worked with over the years.

Structural Elements-Sourcing, specification and design of structural finishes incl.

Kitchens, Cabinetry, BIC’s, tiling, lighting, floor and wall finishes, ceilings etc.

We pride ourselves on meeting deadlines and work very closely with architects,

developers, builders and clients to complete a demanding scope of work within the

parameters of the building budgets on finishes. Sourcing suppliers or assisting with the

finishing of elements within the design that compliment the overall Architectural design

interpretation.

Interior Design & Decor – Design and supply of furniture, fabrics, window

As a direct descendant of the famous Whitehead brand of fabrics, textiles and linens, Craig

Whitehead is incredibly proud to announce his newest and most exciting ranges in home ware,

linens, textiles and wallpapers which will reignite your sense of style and re invent a once much

respected brand name in the industry. Inspired his forefathers and his love of fabric, Craig has

decided to draw inspiration from the past and launch a fresh and magical approach to fabrics and

wallpapers, linens and home wares with just a subtle but significant touch on the inspired vintage

designs of the famous Whitehead patterns.

Heirs & Graces – The Rosebank Grace Hotel

The once renowned Rosebank Grace Hotel in Rosebank, JHB commissioned us to transform an old

dusty office space into a magnificent 4 room Conference facility. The brief was to embrace the

existing style of the hotel at the time but brighten it up. Because of the increase in traffic in

entertainment and conference areas, the need for a cooler brighter scheme was needed.

We were thrilled to deliver a project that has opened great doors for us in the Hospitality industry

since then, and a project we could be proud of, even although the hotel has since been rebranded.

For two years we serviced the upkeep and maintenance needs of this establishment in all the

ongoing repairs and improvements of soft furnishings, upholstery and curtaining as well as the odd

repair and refurbishment project.

In the Glen

BANTRY BAY CAPE TOWN

This stylish boutique hotel requested assistance with the refurbishment of the pool deck and

entertainment areas and we consulted on the furniture and outdoor entertainment areas for this

intimate establishment in Bantry Bay, Cape Town.

ORION GROUP HOTELS

VELMORE GRANDE HOTEL – ERASMIA

Designs are underway on our latest Leisure appointment. We proudly announce we have been

commissioned to the cosmetic refurbishment of the intended 5 star hotel - The Velmore Grande

Hotel in Erasmia.

17th Floor Conference Center – Braamfontein (awaiting title)

A 17th floor space with skyline views over the city center opens it’s doors soon to a

discerning clientele as an exciting and vibrant Conference Center.

The Conservatory

A stylish heritage venue for the inner city of Johannesburg, set in Joubert Park. Once a

glorious hot house in full bloom, this venue was left to neglect and disrepair with the

demise of the inner city infrastructures. We have proudly presented our concepts for the

re development of this site into a sizzling events venue and restaurant aptly titled :
