forget you can also read magazines, information books, poems, recipes etc.

Spellings Practice You will find your spellings for the week on your Class 2 page. Year 1 – list 29 Year 2 – Revisit List 8

Practice them in your usual way – Read – Cover – Write – Check.

It is always a good idea to check you know the meaning of each word – if you are unable to explain the word then you could use a dictionary to look the word up or ask an adult, then write it in a sentence to show you know what the word means.

Activity 2 30 Second Challenge

Choose one of your spelling words (that you can spell correctly) and see how many times you can write it in 30 seconds. Just for fun – get someone to join you, who is the fastest writer? Activity 3 - French French days of the week – See saved on Class 2 page
