PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Presentation Day It gave me great pleasure today to reflect upon and celebrate our 2018 school year. It was also an honour to acknowledge those who have excelled individually and collectively and to thank those who have helped along the way. School Leaders 2019 Congratulations to our school leaders who were announced at today’s assembly and congratulations also to the other 5 nominees who were all very worthy candidates. School Captains: Caleb Cashman & Layla Stark Sports Captains: Emily Kelly, Cody Alexander & Maddy Cutler Year 6 Mini Fete Well done to our Year 6 students who ran a fabulous Mini Fete on Friday. The students did amazing job and raised over $3000 for a gift for the school. Thank you to all who supported this event. Community Concert I look forward to celebrating the end of the year with you all at our Community Concert. The students have been busily rehearsing and are very excited about performing on Friday night. School Calendar A reminder that the last day of term for students is Wednesday 19th December. Students in Year 1 – 6 return on Tuesday 30th January 2019. Following their Best Start assessment kindergarten students commence school on Monday 4th February. PRINCIPALS RECOGNITION A big thank you to Mrs Jolley and Mr Grimley for coordinating the Year 6 Mini Fete and Mrs Shaw and Miss Hannah for organising an outstanding Presentation Day.

Jayda is congratulated for her Citizenship; Kobe is congratulated for his resilience and bravery; Charlie is congratulated for his outstanding application during term 4, Levi, Jessie and Chloe are congratulated for their good excursion manners and Cody, Ethan, Caleb, Maddy, Gabby, Sophie, Emily, Alex, Rudi and Layla are congratulated for their school leadership. OUR ASSEMBLY AND PLAYGROUND AWARD WINNERS Jack Murray and Andi-Grace Fox are congratulated for being respectful. Jack and Andi-Grace both received a $5.00 canteen voucher to thank them. Abby and Jayda accepted the shield on behalf of 1/2T.

The library stocktake has finished for the year; overdue loans still need to be returned. Lunchtime Christmas activities have started and the students are loving these.
