How Does the Bridge Lead to ICAPS?Transition Operational Plan FY17-19

The Adult Education program identified the transition pathways and needed a detailed operational plan or process to implement these pathways. It is important for the Adult Education faculty and staff, academic programs, student development departments, and the Job Center of Lake County we work with, to understand and know the process for the program to achieve its WIOA transition goals. The process can be broken down to the following steps:

1. Identify students who are ready to transition to college or the workforce.

2. Prepare students to transition to college or the workforce.

3. Assist students in making the transition to college or the workforce.

4. Provide follow-up support for students who have transitioned to college and the workforce.
