Client Executive / Consultant The role will involve client engagements across a number of corporate scenarios, including: Commercial IP diligence for finance providers; Monetising/leveraging existing IP assets to secure future revenue streams; and Investment solutions, using IP assets to ease financing pressure and restructure debt. Daily/weekly activities associated with this role include: Managing the development of the client engagement, including assessment of the IP portfolio and formulating an engagement plan to address the unique needs of the client. Cultivating client relationships at all levels, including the board of directors, executive, legal and technology departments. Gaining their trust to enable relevant and reliable information to be gathered to facilitate the development of an IP strategy plan. Analysing the IP assets portfolio including intellectual property rights, licenses, technology, knowhow, brands and contracts to identify strengths and weaknesses in the portfolio and make recommendation thereon. Conduct corporate research to support findings and action plans for presentation to clients. Ideal candidates require to: be highly professional in all corporate communications; have business experience and have good commercial awareness; have good verbal and written presentation skills to enable this to quickly become a customer facing role; and be capable of interpreting financial information as part of the overall analysis. Ideally the candidate will have an understanding of UK patent regime and outline knowledge of international patent regime.
