JIVA SPA brand operates across the Taj Group hotel properties. It is categorised as Jiva Grande, Jiva and The Spa. In 2011 - 2012, two new Jiva Spas were launched in the Vivanta brand of the Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces at Yeshwantpur-Bengaluru and Bekal-Kerala.

Taj Hotels Group created the unique JIVA SPA brand which offers a whole new experience of tranquillity and wellness through the unique concept of ancient Indian healing knowledge. JIVA means life force. It provides the purity of lifestyle awareness from within.

JIVA SPA is an eco-sensitive brand. All products are natural. They contain Indian herbs, pure essential oils, lipids, clays, mud, salts and flower waters from a botanical source. The spa uses organic linen and eco-friendly toxin-free pottery.

PhilosophyJIVA Spas are inspired by the holistic concept of living. The spas follow the Royal traditions of wellness in service experiences . Their services include body therapies, enlivening rituals and ceremonies, unique natural products, Yoga, Meditation, authentic Ayurveda, and unique Taj signature treatments.

2012 *JIVA SPA at Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, has been voted the 5th best Hotel Spa in the Asia and Indian subcontinent category by the Cond Nast Traveller Reader's Spa Awards.2011 *It has also won an award for Nawab-e- Khaas ~Regal Splendor, under the category the best body treatment at the Vogue Beauty Awards. *Three Jiva Spa at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, was nominated for Men's Spa of the Year. *The Jiva Spa at Nadesar Palace, Varanasi, has won the Crystal Awards, 2012 for Best Boutique Hotel Spa, AsPac, Singapore.
