The Clifton Heights / UC Joint Urban Renewal Plan (2001) specifically addresses the project as follows:
- “Information kiosks are basically nonexistent. If the retail owners intend to attract prospective customers from outside the District, one or two information kiosks should be located at either ends of Calhoun or within the new park. These could be electronic or graphically designed maps” (Page 21)
- Another recommendation of the Plan is to develop “a system of graphic items, maps, pamphlets, calendars, etc., bearing the District logo and graphic conventions can provide free information to residents and visitors about the special resources of the District.” (Page 23)
